A message from Rachel

As we reach the end of 2020 I’m finding myself reflecting back on the whirlwind year that we have had.

When we closed our doors for the first time back in March, I did not think for one second we would still be in this situation in December, let alone going into the new year with the salon closed for a third time.

I’m sure you have all had your own challenges during 2020, and hopefully you have realised how strong and resilient you are, no matter what is thrown at you. This is something no-one could have predicted or planned for, so you can give yourself some credit for just simply getting through each day even when you have felt like giving up.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my team – they have been absolutely fantastic during this entire period. The support, love and positivity they have given to not only myself but to each other has been simply incredible and I cannot thank them enough. It has been tough coming back to a completely new working environment, but they turn up with the biggest smiles and do their jobs without a word of complaint, and for that I will be forever grateful.

My biggest gratitude of course has to go to all of our fabulous clients. Every single one of you. I will never forget the 400+ clients we had on our waiting list and how ecstatic you all sounded when I called to tell you we were re-opening in July. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every single treatment, product and gift voucher you have purchased from us during our difficult periods. The grants from the government have been helpful, of course, but they only cover about 25% of our bills so when you purchase from us during a lockdown you really are helping us out much more than you realise.

Even though our doors are temporarily closed, our virtual doors are still open. Our online shop is still available and you can also purchase E-Vouchers too which are valid for 5 years. I truly believe for every cloud there is always a silver lining, and I hope you can reflect on 2020 and find out what yours is.

In line with the new tier 4 restrictions, we are closed until further notice and our online bookings are also temporarily unavailable until we know a confirmed date. Anyone with appointments from now until 18th January will be automatically cancelled and I will review appointments after this date nearer the time. I hope you all have a very happy new year – let’s hope next year is a better one for us all!
