Q. Can you buy a voucher over the phone and it be sent in the post?

A. Yes of course. Vouchers can be purchased for any amount or a preferred treatment and are valid for 6 months. They can be purchased over the phone or in the salon.

Q. What is CACI?

A. CACI ultimate is an advanced micro-current, the latest and most effective CACI machine. CACI works by retraining the muscles in the face, which has a lifting a toning effect on the face. The machine increases the collagen and elastin production in the skin working on fine lines and wrinkles resulting in younger looking skin.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

A. We accept all major credit and debit cards for any payment over £10. We do not accept cheque payments.

Q. What is the differences between Normal Bikini, Brazilian and Hollywood wax?

A. A bikini wax is the hair removed outside your knicker line, a Brazilian is a strip down the centre of the pubic area and all other hair removed, and a Hollywood wax is all hair removed.

Q. What is the difference between Hot Wax and Strip Wax?

A. Strip wax is used for larger areas like legs and arms and is a warm wax applied to the skin and the removed quickly with a wax strip. Hot Wax is better for smaller, more sensitive areas and is applied to the skin and removed quickly without any wax strips. Hot Wax is usually better for more intimate areas e.g Hollywoods or Brazilians. Our therapists will always advise you on what method is best for you prior to doing the treatment.

Q. Will I leave the salon with red skin after an Eyebrow/Lip wax?

A. Waxing may leave your skin slightly pink however this usually dies down within an hour or so and is completely normal with all waxing. We do provide a Jane Iredale 3-minute-makeover after any facial wax to help cover any redness occurred. Jane Iredale is 100% mineral and is completely safe to use on your skin after waxing.

Q. Will Shellac ruin my nails?

A. Shellac will not ruin your nails if you follow correct aftercare advice given to you by your therapist and if the Shellac is removed correctly. To avoid dehydration after Shellac is removed we recommend using CND Solar oil to nourish and hydrate which you can purchase from the salon at your appointment.

Q. Do I need to do anything prior to my spray tan?

A. Its advisable to arrive wearing no Make-up, deodrant or body moisturisers as these can all act as a barrier. However we know this wont always be possible so we do provide wipes to remove deodrant and Make-Up Remover/Cleansers for removing Make-up if needed.

Q. Do I need to do anything prior to a Massage?

A. We have an Infra Red Sunbed which we would highly recommend before a massage due to its excellent muscular benefits to help soothe and warm up tight muscles ready for ultimate benefits from your massage to follow. We would also recommend avoiding any heavy meals 1-2 hours prior to your massage.

Q. Can I apply Make-up after my Facial?

A. Only 100% mineral Make-up should be applied after a facial, we do offer a Jane Iredale 1-minute-makeover after all facials if you do wish to leave the salon with Make-up on.

Q. Do you do male treatments?

A. We do treat males, Men work hard and we respect their need to also be pampered just as much as women, but we protect our therapist by making sure someone else is in the building at all times.

Q. Is there parking at the salon?

A.  Parking is available outside which is free parking for an hour or parking a 2 minute walk away by the side of the cemetery. The salon is surrounded by many side roads and is just a 30 second walk from the nearest bus stop, where buses run every 5 minutes.

Please do let us know if you are pregnant or have any existing medical conditions that may effect the treatment prior to your arrival. This will allow us time to adjust the treatment if needed so we can provide the best possible treatment to suit you.
